Chia Pudding: 3 Easy Recipes You Can Make in 5 Minutes

Three simple chia pudding recipes with milk, fruit and dry fruits that take five minutes to prepare.

Chia pudding is an easy make-ahead breakfast. The seeds absorb liquid and form a soft gel, so there is no cooking involved.

Basic ratio

Use 3 tablespoons of chia seeds for every 1 cup of milk. Stir well, rest for 10 minutes, stir again, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.

Recipe 1: Mango chia pudding

Mix the base with 2 tablespoons of mango pulp and a little honey. Top with fresh mango cubes.

Recipe 2: Dry fruit chia pudding

Stir in chopped almonds, a few black raisins and a pinch of cardamom. Top with pistachio slivers.

Recipe 3: Cocoa chia pudding

Whisk 1 teaspoon of cocoa powder into the milk before adding the seeds and sweeten to taste.

Tips

  • Stir twice in the first 10 minutes to avoid clumps.
  • Use raw chia seeds and keep them dry until you use them.
  • Store the pudding covered in the fridge for up to 3 days.
